This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) RikRak, Inc. (“RikRak,” “we,” “us”) uses across rikrak.ai and app.rikrak.ai, why we use them, and how you can control them.

Analytics
These help us understand how visitors interact with our website so we can improve it. They collect information in a way that does not directly identify anyone. We only load analytics cookies after you click “Accept” on the consent banner.

Google Analytics is loaded through Google Tag Manager. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, pixels, or retargeting tags. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent before deploying them.
How to control cookies
When you first visit our marketing site, a consent banner lets you accept all, decline, or manage non-essential cookie categories. If you decline, only strictly necessary cookies will be used.
You can change your preference at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer. Clearing your browser’s local storage for rikrak.ai will also cause the consent banner to reappear on your next visit.

Third-party services
We use a limited number of third-party services that may set their own cookies:
Supabase provides authentication for parent accounts. Their cookies are essential to maintaining your logged-in session. Supabase Privacy Policy

Children’s privacy
RikRak is used by students, including children under 13. We do not serve analytics or non-essential cookies in the student tutoring experience. The student session cookie is strictly necessary and contains only the information needed to identify which student profile is active. No personal information is stored in cookies beyond what is required for the app to function.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to this signal. We do not change our data practices in response to DNT signals, but we respect your cookie consent choices as described above.
Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the new policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
