Mastery maintenance

The practice of revisiting learned skills often enough that students keep them available under real academic pressure.

Mastery maintenance is what stops earlier wins from fading. A student may answer correctly once, but the system still needs to revisit the skill later to verify that it remains stable.

Why it matters

Without maintenance, progress looks stronger on paper than it is in practice. The moment the topic returns, the student is rebuilding instead of advancing.
